- Designed and implemented worksite wellness programs, including concepts, approaches, tools, and resources used to build a wellness culture within AHWC.
- Created wellness culture stages of change models for leadership and employees. The models gauged readiness from the current state through implemented wellness culture shifts. The tools were designed to align the mission, vision, values, purpose, goals, and business strategy to a “well” work environment.
- Created the following tools: budget, culture, demographic, and environment assessments; policy and procedure audit tools to align P&Ps to a wellness culture; Action Plans and Rewards and Recognition policies to improve employee wellness and job satisfaction.
- Implemented and managed a nationwide, 15-month Xanterra corporate wellness project with 21 corporate, National and State Park properties (over 7,500 employees).
Transformation Coach and Coach Manager

- Coached corporate State of Slim (SOS) 16-week programs with multiple organizations.
- Coached hundreds of Destination Boot Camp (DBC) clients (a part of the ABC Extreme Weight Loss boot camp program). One-year program: one-week on-site camp, the remainder of the year was coached virtually.
- Worked with the author of SOS to develop corporate and boot camp programs.
- Developed resources and training manuals, FAQs for clients, and training videos for both coaches and client users.
- Managed dozens of transformation and fitness coaches including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and more.

Multi-Specialty Clinic Manager

- Driving force in developing a multi-million dollar, three-specialty medical clinics.
- Management of ten staff including four physicians with thousands of patients.
- Duties include payroll, coordination of CMEs, medical board and rounding presentations/public education forums, annual reviews, ensuring completion of timely physician dictation, coding, and billing.
- Instituted KANBAN supply system.
- Lead the first hospital medical group clinic to go live with electronic medical records through eClinical Works.
- Member of Diabetes Center of Excellence team enhancing combined efforts with Mesa County, Colorado Mesa University, diabetic educators and Quality Healthcare Network to decrease incidents of overweight, obesity, and diabetic individuals and families.
- Developed and managed a diabetic satellite clinic in Rifle, CO.
Certified Personal Trainer (since 1989, case managed and trained thousands of clients).
- Successfully trained and managed a diverse client base: age, gender, fitness level, multiple disease states, injuries, and weight concerns and goals.
- Developed an 18-week study for the Diabetes Center of Excellence Wellness Program in coordination with an endocrinologist, Gold’s Gym, and Primary Care Physicians to include personal training, nutrition guidance, pre-, mid-, and post-workout blood sugars, physician-guided medication adjustment, monitored labs for cholesterol, HbA1c, biometrics measurements, and blood pressure. The goal was to expand the program and work with insurance companies and grant funding to support this program.

- Developed this worksite wellness program.
- The program was trademarked and sold to RMHP. The program achieved National WELCOA Work Site awards.
- After trademark, I managed the program as a worksite health initiative for RMHP employees and RMHP employer groups, School District 51, Community Hospital, Grand Junction Pipe, Ute Water, and Colorado Mesa University which included on-site case management of hundreds of clients with thyroid disease, depression, overweight and obesity issues as well diabetes.
- Coordinated weekly fruit delivery, fitness/exercise classes, and massage therapy, conducted educational forums, and maintained HIPAA compliance for employees.
- Implemented, MyhealthIQ™ a consumer-driven health care program that uses clinical laboratory results, biometrics, and scientific health surveys for early detection of potentially life-threatening risk factors or lifestyle behaviors.
- Implemented MyePHIT™ an online program to engage individuals in activities promoting physical fitness, healthy eating habits, and behavioral management.
- Worked with Rocky Mountain Health Foundation on grant-based projects to include a Chronic Care Model for asthma, depression, obesity, and migraine education.
HEDIS® (Health Effectiveness Data and Information Set) Coordinator
- HEDIS® is a set of performance measures in the managed care industry developed and maintained by NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance).
- HEDIS® measures 75 domains for: effectiveness of care, access/availability for care, experience of care, health plan stability, utilization/resource use, healthcare choices such as new member orientation, education, and language translation services.
- Developed, maintained, and reported HEDIS® outcomes to NCQA and RMHP providers.
- RMHP achieved and maintained NCQA accreditation largely due to this effort.
Peer-A-Med™ Program Coordinator
- Peer-A-Med™ is a physician utilization tool that creates a physician report card analyzing physician care, resources, medical necessity, quality of medicine, and cost-effectiveness to like peers within the same specialty.
- Conducted statewide physician group meetings presenting personal and peer-compared results. Education shifted their decision-making, quality of care, and utilization costs.
- Physician reimbursement programs were implemented to reward providers who shifted patient care in a positive direction based on these reports.

- Implemented healthy lifestyle initiatives with Mesa County employees and physicians. Coordinated statewide Steps to a Healthier US and Colorado on the Move movement initiatives to encourage individuals, corporate employees, and the Medicare population to increase their daily activity to 10,000 steps/day.
