We listen, gather, and share their stories. We change the world by changing the narrative, one person, one story, one day at a time.

It’s time to open our minds and our hearts by doing MORE and doing BETTER, as together, we educate, raise awareness of and dismantle the misconceptions about the many misunderstood souls living on the street, empowering each of us individually, and collectively to create change for good.

David Berenbaum is nationally known as a trusted voice for consumers and as a champion for a vibrant housing marketplace that celebrates the importance of fair and affordable housing so that every neighborhood is a community of opportunity. David serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Housing Counseling at the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development and has held executive positions with the Homeownership Preservation Foundation, the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, the Equal Rights Center, the Fair Housing Council of Greater Washington, and Long Island Housing Services. He is a frequent presenter at conferences across the nation – where he speaks from the heart and educates stakeholders to the importance of empowering consumers to make responsible choices to improve their housing, rally their credit and savings, understand their rights and responsibilities, and to avoid and/or recover from eviction, foreclosure, natural disasters, being unhoused or life’s unanticipated hardships. Peggy Willms, Co-Author
Peggy has been a certified fitness trainer, sports performance nutritionist, and personal and executive health, wellness, and life coach for over thirty-five years. She is an entrepreneur, bestselling author, a featured contributor for BizCatalyst360, an international online magazine, hosts wellness retreats, and is host of The Coach Peggy Show. She spent over twenty years in corporate wellness and has managed multi-million-dollar medical clinics. Her unique business and work-site wellness programs have earned her multiple awards. She has two sons and two grandsons. She loves all things beach and sunshine and lives in Florida with her better half.

Renato Rampolla, Photographer
Renato Rampolla is a lens-based artist living in Florida, whose artistic journey began in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1959 before he later moved and grew up in Florida. He holds a B.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of South Florida. Notably, Rampolla had the privilege of studying under the guidance of the sculptor, Jerry Meatyard, the brother of renowned photographer Ralph Eugene Meatyard, where he honed his skills in composition, color, and sculpting. His work has been featured in Dek Unu Fine Photography Magazine, and his book, titled ‘Dignity No Matter What: The Light Within,’ which showcases intimate portraits of individuals living on the streets was juried into the 12th Annual Photobook Show at the Davis Orton Gallery in Hudson, New York, and was also exhibited at the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, MA. Rampolla’s work has been showcased in numerous gallery and museum exhibitions across the United States: Soho Photo Gallery, PhotoSpiva at the George A. Spiva Center for the Arts, National Exhibition in Joplin, MO, The SE Center for Photography in Greenville, SC, Praxis Photo Arts Center in Minneapolis, and the ongoing online LENSCRATCH Fine Art photography exhibition, as well as exhibitions at The Museum of Art and History in Maitland, FL, and The Museum of Art in Deland, FL Rampolla has been honored with the Professional Development for Artists Grant on two occasions, from the esteemed Arts Council of Hillsborough County, FL.
