Peggy Willms has been a trendsetter for 30+ years with her unique approach, tools, and strategies shattering the “Norm” in the health, wellness, fitness, corporate, and medical fields. She is a bestselling author. certified personal trainer, sports performance nutritionist, personal and executive health, wellness, and life coach. Peggy is also a radio, docuseries, and experiential wellness retreat host. She spent 20+ years in corporate wellness and has managed multi-million-dollar medical clinics. Her unique business and work-site wellness programs have earned her multiple awards. She has two sons and two grandsons, who all reside in Colorado. She loves all things beach and sunshine and lives in Florida with her better half.
Co-Author Markus Wettstein MD
Dr. Wettstein has practiced endocrinology for nearly 30 years and is a bestselling author. He is a diabetes, metabolic, and stress management specialist. He also works in energy medicine as a Licensed Bio-Well practitioner. Dr. Wettstein assists clients in improving their health and wellness by measuring their energy field, stress level, health status, and energy reserve via electrophotonic imaging. Dr. Wettstein lives in Colorado with his wife, has three children, and enjoys skiing and hiking.
Dr. Wettstein and I are very excited to write another book with you. We have been co-workers, co-authors, project collaborators, and close friends for 14 years. Together, we bring over 60 years in the health, wellness, and medical fields. Our passion is to help others improve the quality of their life through self-discovery, motivation, accountability, and a variety of individualized modalities – not cookie-cutter methods deemed suitable by any one prescription or method. After creating the framework for our three-book All Things Wellness series, we began building a community of like-minded people who are changing and saving lives. Book one of the All Things Wellness book series was launched in September 2022—The Four-Fold Formula for All Things Wellness. Book two, Win the Wellness W.A.R. Our Story Guidelines
1.) Your true and personal story is similar to a long article not a blog. Stories are more descriptive, engaging and emotional than a blog. An article and story have complete sentences and paragraphs. There are no bullet points.
2.) It is written in first-person, narrative and non-fiction. Facts and figures can be added to validate your story. If used, list resources at the bottom of your story. Your personal opinions do not necessarily need to be backed up by facts and figures. Your story is experiential and emotionally based, not fact and figure driven.
3) You can subtly teach within the story, but the story should not be a presentation. It is a personal story, not a lecture. The understated teaching will be in the personal lesson learned.
4) Do not sell products or your business within your story. Our professional experiences are often a large part of who we are including the trials and tribulations we have faced. Many of our authors write about their professional experiences, however, do not promote a product or business. As a Contributing Author, your contact information and bio will be in the book, and potential clients or customers will be able to contact you.
5) No photos will be included within your story content. We do require your headshot for promotion. If you have chosen to be on the Front Cover of the book, your bio and headshot will be in the book. Those authors only submitting stories and not being on the cover, will not have a headshot in the book; only their bio.
