Speaking with Papa

Hello, Dear Friends,

Come play with me,

For we are all One,

Within a vast blue Sea.

We are waves in oceans of Love,

Kissed by our Loving Sun from above.

I am a wave within this Sea,

Yes, I am you, and you are me.

Names and labels should never Be,

For All are wonderous, beautiful, and free.

Hello! Friends and Family across the Mother Earth! Please allow me to introduce myself to you.  As you can see from the above poem, I am approaching this adventure from a different perspective.

The vast majority of folks always state their accomplishments, awards, diplomas, and successful endeavors in his or her life. There is absolutely nuthin’ wrong with this!  The main factor for me is that I am still here and kicking the can farther down the road.

My name is Jeanmarie. I was born in Montgomery, Alabama on June 19, 1961. The Deep South, as most folks know of it. Where life is considered slower, more laid back, genteel, and good ole home country folks, yes, we can be this, but we can also be hard-headed, obstinate, stubborn, gossipy, prideful, and hoity-toity!!

Hmm, yes, everyday regular folks and with many beautiful and good things to give! Such as good fattening foods and decadent desserts, and you are guaranteed never to walk away from a dinner table HUNGRY! Seconds and even thirds helpings are encouraged!

We believe in extending a helping hand, no matter the circumstance you find yourself in, and there is no such thing as a stranger! And don’t forget that old southern long drawl in talking!  The way each person talks their trademark, their official copyright stamped within their heart, as a one-of-a-kind Soul, never to be duplicated, the Original One!

I have been asked to do a blog, of which I have never done before, but I guess one could consider this to be an honor to share their everyday thoughts, feelings, and adventures in life with y’all out there. Sorta like a journal, a diary, I guess you could call it.

I am a mother, two living, a son and a daughter, and two waiting for me while playing with the angels… when I decide to leave Mother Earth.  Sometimes good at being a mother and epically failing as a mother too!

Many times, decisions were made with tons of Love but also Rivers of Fear as well. We all do, and the biggest obstacle that I have succeeded in with Papa’s guidance and help is forgiving myself for these blunders in Life, and accepting where I was coming from at that critical junction in Life.

I am a loner by choice due to my experiences in life. Trusting folks was always risky, with unforeseen circumstances.  But there is one Friend who is a constant, always supportive, loving, filled with wisdom, puns, and a great sense of humor, and his laugh is infectious! Most folks call him “God.”

He is “Papa” to me. Always beside me, walking down the road, playing in the water, washing the clothes, you name it, we do everything together! I do not see God as a kazillion miles away from me, but instead, a thought and a breath away; there he is. No wait in lines, no special delivery letters, the Best and Dearest Friend One can ever have and Know!

So, I guess if you say I have to name an accomplishment in life, it would be in knowing Papa!

I promise I will not pretend to be more than I am! What you see is what you get. What you will read is me at the rawest, honest fire of my Being. I am here today because I am Loved.

Thank y’all for listening to my “Introduction.”

Grapes, (Love y’all bunches!!)

Jeanmarie
